19 AS winding
After reading about problems with a watch Ulackfocus purchased on Ebay, I thought I'd inquire about some similar problems I've had with a watch purchased from a buyer I've had reason to trust. My All Guard does not seem to wind automatically. I haven't looked at the rotor to see if there is any sign of wear from friction, but have never read anything about this as a problem with that movement. Originally it did not seem to stem wind, but if I wore it, it was fine. Then it stopped while wearing. I sent it for checking and it came back worse. I have read about some automatics (early bumpers) that did not wind sufficiently while wearing, but never anything like this about the 19AS. What kind of reserve should I expect? The seller last said perhaps I don't have enough wrist movement to keep it wound. Since I work in NYC, I know that is not the problem, it get lots of action! Any comment would be appreciated. It came to me "serviced."

Looking to repair inherited Seiko, can you ID model and suggest repair facility?
Hey!I inherited my step fathers Seiko when he passed from a Brain tumor a few years ago.As he went through Chemo and got more clumsy it kind of took a beating. Then I got it, and spared it no less.Then the bracelet broke and it's been sitting on my shelf.I'd like to get it repaired as the band is broken, the chrono buttons are stuck, the battery is dead, and the crystal scratched.I have no idea what model it is, how much it cost, or whether it would cost more to repair than replace (although I guess it really isn't replaceable). But I would like to get it in wearable shape and work it into my watch rotation.Here are some pics of the watch. I think the macro setting on the camera makes the scratches on the crystal look worse than they really are, although one or two will snag a finger nail.If you can identify this watch and recommend a quality repair facility I would appreciate it!Thanks!-BDHershey

Should I replace my 320 with a 321?
Should I sell my 3+ month old 320 for a 321? Just recieved a call from my ad that he can ge has one in hand now and offered me sgd10,300 (usd7900+) for it. I bought my 320 for a a little less than that. Been thinking about it the whole night.

Hello All,I am interested in purchasing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding and am trying to select between the 15400ST and 15450ST. For comparison purposes, I believe that the Rolex Day-Date 40 fits my 6.65 (rather flat across the top) wrist well.I believe that I am somewhat between sizes and that the 15202ST would likely be the best fit, but regret the higher price, lack of features such as a quick-set date and particularly the lack of a seconds hand. New acquisition. Saw it while shopping at Costco, spouse said for me to try it on (also tried a Breitling GMT on a brown leather strap), and said if I like it I could have it. After a day, it appears to be a half second fast. Love the dial, no cyclops, and the display back is a first for me. Its a good size too, looks huge even though its just a mm larger than the GMT Master II. Some quick pics with my old 3.2mp Canon Elph:
