- This watch attracts inquiry, usually along with a squinted look of confusion. The major drawback to this watch is that it is nearly impossible to read in dim settings. A backlight would have done wonders for it.

Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 4517 wrist watches news:
Hi!Some days ago I, while under the influence I might add, felt like freezing one watch. So I did, the next day some pictures were produced. This one came out decent in my opinion:The ice melted pretty fast and the watch survived great. Keeps ticking away and keep time at +5 just like before.Kindly/john
This may sound strange. I really do think I take good care of my watches. I use a car wax on a soft cloth the other day and applied it to one of my SS bracelets. I was very surprised at the tarnish that was removed to a clean soft cloth. Being anal, I then started doing other watches. I was again surprised at what revealed itself on a clean soft cloth. I take pains to keep my watches clean(or so i thought), but the luster sure returned to the watches I applied it to. The wax was "wax only" with no abrasives. I was using a liquid wax applied to a soft cloth and then wiped on the bracelet and carefully on the case.It made a big difference for me. Has anyone else tried something like this?
I need a subject for my term paper, so I thought why not watches? Just wondering if there were any watch companies that were created in New York City during the time period of 1860 - 1940, it would be interesting to do a paper on watches but my main concern is finding sourcesMy term paper topic has to do with anything New York City related.
I had wanted a white face AP for a while.... so I went to the AD and had my eye on the new safari.... Never thought I would pick this old version navy theme... But when I saw this in person for the first time, I fell in love with it.... I have to say pictures does not do this watch justice!!! This has been my favourite AP for the past week. I am bias since blue is one of my favourite colour.
Hi,I live in Israel, there's no patek lab over here ( the only option its to send the piece to Swiss), what do you think for replacing gasket, may I do it with my watchmaker, or to send it to the official lab? Thanks for your thoughts EmanuelP.sThe watch was services at official lab in the last 5 years.I'm talking only about replacing gaskets for water resistance.
