RGM Pennsylvania Tourbillon MM 2 Watch
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first laid eyes on the movement for this RGM Pennsylvania Tourbillon watch (which I discussed here). Sure the final version isn't much different than the preview I saw a while ago, but seeing it all put together with case, text, hands, and finishing is really satisfying. I feel a nice level of price seeing this timepiece, knowing it is all American. It really doesn't have too much to do with the fact that "we can do it." If Americans needed to build a tourbillon watch a while ago, we would have. This isn't an achievement in technology or engineering. Rather, it is a signal of our American appreciation in fine watches. That we care enough about good looking, traditional watches to invest enough to make our own. That for me feels good, and a positive sign that Americans are taking timepieces seriously again. It's always a good day when a new watch arrives! Actually got this last week, just been too slow at posting up some pics.My third Panerai, but first I have gotten in some time and I am happy to be back. Not much to say that hasn't already been said on this watch, but it really is a great all around piece. The newer slightly more thin case really lends this watch to wearing comfortable and smaller than it looks. I love the clean dial, and even the pop of blue on the second hand. Already put the Brown Calf Assolutamente strap on it. I think the colors on the strap really lend itself well to this watch. Anyone have any other favorite straps for this watch? Likely going to get the green canvas for summertime. Thanks for looking.

SD43 vs Black Bay comparison pics
In response to a forum member on another thread, I took a couple quick photos of my Sea Dweller 43mm vs the Black Bay 41 Blue.Really interesting to me how the Black Bay is sort of slotted in between the Sea Dweller and Submariner in terms of size.The Black Bay has the same lug-to-lug dimensions (50mm) and bracelet width (22mm) as the Sea Dweller, yet has similar thickness (<13mm) and diameter as the Submariner (41mm vs 40mm). Definitely sits on the wrist much differently than the SD43, much flatter since the case back is nearly flat. Just some random observations. I'm loving the idea of having both more and more. Totally different watches even with some of the similarities.

16613,16713, or 16623. I can't make up my mind.
I want to add a professional/sports Rolex to my collection. My problem is, I can't decide which one I finally want to buy!! 16613, blue or black really doesn't matter to me. The TT Sub is a great want, and it's a very popular watch. The only thing I require is that it has a gold through clasp. I found a full set (blue) that I really like at what I feel is a fair price. But I also really like the 16713. 16713 .. My love for aviation draws me to the 16713. It's a really cool watch and I like the 24 hour hand and the ability to keep time in separate time zones. 16623 .. I love the Rolex Day Date and Datejust models because they are classy and elegant. They are timeless, and for me, they can be worn with Brioni or jeans and a tee shirt. The subs and gmt's can't (at least they can't for me) So what I love about the 16623 is that it has the rugged appeal of the subs and gmt's, but they also have the class and elegance of the DD's and the DJ'sSo I can't make up my mind. I want my cake and eat
