I almost got cheated today.
I took a little trip in the country side today and stopped at a very shaggy looking pawn shop in the middle of nowhere, (you should have been here Scott).The guy behind the counter tried to sell me this claiming it was real...:)He said he pawned it for an older guy many years ago and wanted to rob me out of $10.000.........:)I tried to explain that Rolex don't do them in red, only black and white but he wouldn't listen.Geeezz, I can buy a good looking Day Date for that.....:)Luckily my mama didn't raise no fool so I left.Funny feeling though, it had an almost "real" look to it...:)

ok i have had this seamaster for 2 years . It never gains time only looses some secs;) . Once i fully wind it , it will not gain or loose any seconds for 24 hours. After that it starts loosing 2-3 secs daily till it gets to the point where it stays at -12secs no matter what;) It has been always running at -12 secs steady .is it accurate?i have the cosc certification . It says that dial up will make it gain 4 secs. I left it dial up for 20h but did not gain anythingvertical 6 o clock up = M1 2.0 and M2 2.3vertical 3 o clock up = M3 -2.9 and M4 -2.8vertical 9 oclock up = M5 0.6 and M6 0.7Horizontal dial down = M7 2.2 M8 2.2Horizontal dial up = M9 4.2 M10 4.1Horizontal dial up = M11 7.4 M12 3.8 M13 -0.5vERTICAL 6 oclock up = M14 1.6 M15 2.3

problem....
heres my problem....i have one more watch i want for my current collection...and i don't think I'm kidding myself in general...i mean only one more kinda expensive watch....it will cost me 6k bnib.....the deal is that i was going to wait until this property sale went through before i rewarded myself with the watch...long story short, the buyer whom i know well, really wants the property, has the loan, blah blah...was supposed to complete the sale last week before i left town, but his wife is a 'new' attorney....long story short she didn't get it together correctly on the docs and they had to be redone and i had to go out of town, so now the plan is that it completes when i get back....heres the rub.....the place i get my watches is out of town and i won't be back there for 5 months and i want the watch now and the sale is 99% to complete next week....do i get the watch or do i wait? ......

Got my Pepsi back from the RSC. OMG it looks fantastic!!! I purchased this piece from someone here on TRF who sells preowned Rolex's. I had to send it it, due to the crown needing replaced. I decided to have it serviced anyway, and got it back. The RSC did a fantastic job on it! The watch looks new! I'll have to post some pics of it. Glad I made this purchase. Love my pepsi!
