Seiko SXDE13 wrist watches news:
If i have my watchmaker pop open the back of my new SMP, will it void the 2 yr Omega Warranty?
I saw this one one the swamp the other day, it was on the Irish bay so possible it did not show up on the site. I added it to my watch list and figured I might throw a bid at it near the end of the auction, unfortunatley for me I got the 5 minute warning for auction ending on my iPhone app but I was totally caught up and could not place a bid. Later when I looked back I felt kinda sick at the final price because I believed it was worth more, final price was about $70 the watch was advertised as a piping rock style and working perfectly. I had seen a post by RJ007 in which he mention this watch along with an Illinois. This is Greg's post watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/46642.htm So how bad did I miss out on this one or was 70 a fair price?

Hello all i've lurked here for a number of years - i wish i would have bought some vintage rolexes back in 2013 when i was really actively looking at some and registered here!(currently on a two-year list for a 116500LN)I want to get a vintage patek 96 to dip a toe into the vintage patek game. I know it's small but i actually am enough of hipster-wanna-be to be able to wear it i think. Also with the bigger crown, 18mm strap and vintage nature it clearly looks like just an old watch to me as opposed to something elseAnyone have a 96 and would care to share whether or not they've been happy with it?Thanks!FA
Hey All,I've been wanting to add a precious metal dress watch for while, but my eye has been firmly set on my next stainless sports watch acquisition. My friend and I have been talking dress watches and took a trip to NYC to do some browsing. After having the 5196 on, I'm obsessed. I have a Rolex Sub and I've always been a one watch guy, but I really want a piece of Haute Horlogerie. Before being derailed by the 5196 my plan was to get the RO 15202 and it be my only watch. It's obviously not as robust as the Sub, so I've been having doubts. With the price difference between what the 5196 is available for and the 15202, I would be able to justify the stretch and keep the Sub and get the 5196. I feel like I'd have a pretty well rounded two watch collection. Does that make any sense to anyone?? haha Am I nuts to be thinking to forgo the Jumbo? I looked at the 5196J and the 'R'. I only tried on the 'J' because the strap was already flexed and I felt bad bending the perfect strap of the 'R'
