Winder help - Omega Speedmaster
I have an Omega Speedmaster Chronograph that won't stay wound when I use my watch winder. I can't find anything regarding if I need to set if for Clockwise or counterclockwise. I was using the sharper image winder and have now switched to a Tech Swiss. I only wear this watch a couple of days per week so it spends most of the time in the winder. The watch is about 5 years old and I have never had it serviced if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help. I am just getting into the nicer timepieces and have a lot to learn. Todd

3120 beat rate
For those with APs equipped with the venerable 3120 (which I'm considering)....I read that it beats at 21,600 bph. If you're on this forum, I presume you have at least one Rolex with a 3135 that's clicking away at 28,800 bph. I presume the less smooth movement of the second hand doesn't bother you, but everything I read suggests higher beat rate is required for greater accuracy. What has been your experience with +/- per 24 hrs? If it's in the 10-15 seconds range, is that considered an acceptable characteristic of this calibre (I realize it is not a certified chronometer)?I'm drawn to the AP, but owning only Rolex and Omega, all within +/- 3 seconds per day, I want to set my expectations appropriately.

Dear Friends, here's a 785 I chanced upon with a rare dial configuration with gold dot markers on the dial. I initially wasn't sure about this configuration so contacted knowledgeable forum friends who confirmed it was all original. I then came across some advertisements (seen in pics) showing the same dial configuration and knew I had to breathe life into this watch. Off it went to a known vintage Breitling repairer who did his best to preserve this watch for the future. Offcourse the dial does show it's age so not much could be done about that but he put in plenty of effort into getting the movement and parts working again besides some other essential repairs. Hi all,After being burgled a few months ago, and having watches stolen, my insurance have finally paid out, and I am ready to replace/reshuffle.My previous line up was:Rolex green glass Milgauss - StolenRolex LVc (Hulk) - StolenBreitling Navitmer world, white dial on brown leather croc strapOmega Planet Ocean 8500 movement (larger size case)I will be keeping the omega, I like it, it's built like a tank, and disguises scratches to the bracelet well.I am going to trade in the Breitling, whilst I love the dial, it's just too big, and has only been worn a few times.I am keen on keeping a white dial in the collection, and am tempted with the IWC Portofino on a metal mesh strap. However, I am also tempted with a black dial hesalite speedy, which I would probably wear on a black rubber strap.I will be replacing the Milgauss. I am looking for good condition with box and papers, but pre owned prices in the UK seem very high in comparison to new AD price.I am back on a list for the Hulk, from th
