OK, need help finding a leather strap
hey everyone,Ok, looking for a leather strap and having a hard time. If you have ideas that fit the below criteria, then Sponsors - tell me what you got! Members, show me what you got!Need a 24 / 22mm.Brown in color, something like a cognac (less red, more brown), "Havana", that type of brown.LONG. Need to have at least 200mm's total. 80/120 or 125 would be idea.Relatively thick. The watch is 45mm wide at 2-8 and 18mm thick. I'm thinking 4-5mm at lugs probably.I'm normally not a fan of 'standard' leather. A vintage leather or bomber style is probably what I'm looking for. Distressed would be OK too, but not looking like it's falling apart. The "aged" look isn't something I really care for A large gator print would also be a good strap (love gator looks).Stitching, matching or white / off white is fine either way.Glossy straps need not apply regardless of other criteria!! I just returned home from another riverine expedition into a remote location of West Kalimantan, the place is just a patch of jungle terrain on Google Map. There was no wifi, no phone signals but life goes on fine. It was a small village that became hub to some 20+ villages in the area. There was electricity during the night from a small hydro generator up the mountain. The purpose of my trip was 2 fold; first to do a study on viability of creating some jobs for the young people of that area through aquaculture and the second was to look at a reconstruction plan for a new junior high school hostel there. The old hostel named Gloria II built by a collaboration of Japan Evangelical Mission and an Indonesian Foundation has been tilting due to river bank erosion in recent flooding. It was a rewarding experience for me once again. 15202 or 15400??
I am heading towards a 3 watch collection lifestyle and have already chosen the 2 first, a PP 5712 in SS, a Rolex sub LV aka the Hulk, and as a third am pulled towards an AP RO, but am hesitating a lot, until today between a Dual time or plain dial, and now between the 2 models mentioned above, in any case in blue, I know my PP will have a blue dial but it's my fav color.just don't know which to put, the Jumbo looks great but is only 39mm, have never tried one but like 40mm+, for me the PP 5712 is at the limit of my size factors, it's ok because very thin, so don't know about the JUMBO.About the 15400 I like the 41mm and the fact that there is a second hand.Is there a difference between the 2121 movement and the 3120? Except that the 3120 has a second hand?For thickness it's 1,7mm difference, in other words almost nothing.The Jumbo blue dial looks lighter blue than the 15400 on the site's pics, is it really the case or just a lighting question?Also do the dials change color like Nauti
