Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 7766 wrist watches news:
And now for something completely different. For anyone who has read any of my articles here, or seen my feed on Instagram, it's plain to see that I favor mostly divers, chronographs and other watches from the 1950's through the 1970's. However, what first drew me to vintage watches were the incredible Art Deco and Machine Age designs of the 1930'spanies like Waltham, Elgin, Gruen, Bulova and Hamilton produced an amazing array of stunningly designed watches. The cases ranged from simple Streamline to intricately engraved and enameled designs, to the dramatic stepped cases that took their styling cues from the skyscrapers in big cities like New York and Chicago. I started out my WIS journey collecting these beautiful creations from the 1930's, and really enjoyed them. However, as much as I love the look and style of these, they are quite small and they are far more fragile than watches from the 1950's on. I found that as my tastes changed as I grew as a collector, I slowly stopped wearing
Yes, I tend to sell and buy watches much too often. But it's my hobby, so I justify it. Here's my offer. Since I consider WTF my home board, whenever I have a watch or a watch-related item to sell, I am going to offer a 5% discount to folks here. I do post watches for sale on other boards, and those prices will be the same, but here, I will knock off 5% if you respond as having seen it here on WTF.
Hello people!I'm hoping maybe you guys can me help with my little watch issue...I just purchased the Invicta 8926OBGreat looking watch, my only issue is that it's WAAAAAAAYYYYYY to small for my wrist and need something bigger.I was wondering if anyone here had an Invicta F0066 that they would be willing to part with. Please let me know. Thanks in advice"Do you know what happens when you burn bridges...?You learn to swim"
I was just wondering what the general opinion here about the Nautilus 5726 was...For the longest time I did not understood what people seem to like about the Nautilus (as compared to the dressier watches of PP), but slowly the design is growing on me. And while (sadly) I cannot expect to buy one anytime soon, I started looking at them with greater interest. My current two favorites are the 5726 and the 5990.From what I gathered the 5990 is pretty popular but I have much harder time finding anything about the 5726. My own dilema is that I do find the 5990 to be the more interesting watch. However at the same time I find the 5726 to be the more practical and also the cleaner looking one. While the travel time complication is certainly special, in reality I travel very little, so in practical terms it is not of much use to me. At the same time the dial of the 5990 is a bit too busy and I'm not a fan of how the hour markers are all cut off... So in terms of looks I tend to find the 5726 sl
Richard Beard at Toshi Straps, UK is a gentleman and really does excellent work. His prices are also quite reasonable. He produced these two straps for me in 4 weeks and I have ordered another 2 including a black Horween leather strap for my 372. The quality of the leather is outstanding. Highly recommended if you are looking for something a bit different. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
