Invicta 1344 wrist watches news:
Post your favorite watch pictures! Mine favorite picture of all time is this stunning image of the A. Lange Double Split Chrono. This is what dreams are made of:
...have been without an AP since I sold my 15300 this summer, yesterday I got a minty Diver from Dec -13...BUT I have some questions-I find the edges under the buckle VERY sharp, anyone else experienced this?-I need to source a smaller size strap (I have to use the last hole since I like to wear my watches tight) I have the original on mine, what size is the smaller one? anyone know the RRP of these?
A week or two ago I picked up an AP Bands nice matte black crock strap for my diver. It was great and I loved the change in look, no regrets, but I just switched back to the rubber strap. Why?It is just so amazingly comfortable!! Nothing else like it. I also missed the two channel lines coming off the links at the head of the watch. Subtle, not noticeable when you are used to it, but the detail is missed when its not there. Love my diver
I noticed this small asymmetry in the bracelet-to-case connection. I'm sure this will be a relatively minor thing as the watch ages, but since it's only a week old do you think it¡¯s worth showing to folks at the boutique?
I started with a new SubC 114060 about 3 months ago. The build quality was amazing. The bracelet and clasp were the best I'd ever seen. For some reason however, something bothered me about it. In the end, I just couldn't learn to love the fat lugs and how they didn't flow properly in to the bracelet. After doing a few trades and sales, I ended with a near NOS 16610 date sub that still had stickers on the case. The only thing missing is the box. I've owned a few older GMTs and Explorer2s and always thought this generation was somewhat flimsy but wore so comfortably. This is my first time handling a NOS one and the build quality is pretty good. Even the bracelet is solid. I'm guessing they were all this way at first until stretch kicks in. Either way, this one seems better suited to my wrist (at least in my mind anyways). I know it doesn't have the ceramic bezel and the technology but I like it more. Only thing I don't like is the clasp that seems to bulge out. If I can source a GMT clasp
