Raymond Weil 4878-ST-00268 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can¡¯t miss, let us know in the comments below.Where to buy watches in New York City?New York City is something of a watch buying Mecca. The Big Apple has an almost endless number of stores and brand boutiques for your shopping pleasure. A prime example of the quality and choice offered in New York is Cellini Jewelers. They can be found in the landmark Waldorf-Astoria hotel at 301 Park Avenue and also at 509 Madison Avenue at 53rd Street. They have served the City and the world since 1977 carrying
The popular Incursore collection from Glycine returns with a model II and model III. Relatively inexpensive, these watches comes with a few dial styles and with automatic or manually wound movements. Actually, the price of the pieces with a manually wound Unitas 6498 movement is the same as the watch with an automatic ETA 2824. So why would someone opt for a manually wound movement. Well, I guess some people prefer itbut really the only difference is a central seconds hand (in the automatic) versus a subsidiary seconds dial in the manually wound version. Oh, and the view through the watch's exhibition caseback is gonna be different. The Glycine Incursore II model (ref. 3901)? is that with the manually wound movement, and the III (ref. 3900) has the automatic. Each comes in a 44mm wide steel case (100 meters water resistant) with an available metal bracelet or thick leather strap. Each watch has a few dial options. A "standard" minimalistic model with a mix of Arabic and baton hour marke
well, I am thinking seriously on purchasing one and only one Casio G-Shock, and i am expecting that this watch should be for my rough job from lawning & gardening, at my machinery workshop, a lots of bang here and there, probably for gym & swim, .. any suggestion ?Appreciate your help Rgds Pete J
I just picked up one with the 3133 movement on the 'bay for under $150. I know the movement is based on the Valjoux, but outside of that I don't know much else. Anyone else here have experience with them either good or bad? My Vostok watches are really well made and a super value. I am hoping this will be the same. I get it next week and I'll post pics as soon as I do.
I'm super curious about the numbers available in North America. My AD has 142 and I have to call a few to see which number I like the most (when you number things it becomes so personal)..but each AD only has 1 and hard to get...Please share if you already got one and what your number is! I figure it can't be more than 999 cus the engraving at the back is only large enough for 3 numbers...unless they reduce the font. That's just a guess anyway. If so it would be highly collectable down the road.I'm thinking maybe all the lucky number 8s went to Asia...
