Help needed in identifying a watch
Can anyone identify this time piece? from what i could see it looks like a swiss made watch probably from Chronographe Suisse with a Landeron mechanism , but i can't pin point the model IMG_1845.jpgIMG_1844.jpgIMG_1842.jpgIMG_1839.jpgIMG_1838.jpg The mechanism is in working order, but in need of TLC as all of it.Thank you for any help provided.P.S the watch came with the story that it was made for the British army - aviators - as a special order, that is why there are no markings on it.

Oris Artelier Chronograph vs. Oris Artelier Complication
Hi guys,I need everyone's opinion.As you can see, I am a Rolex lover/collector. However, I am about to purchase my first every Oris watch (I've been wanting one since last year).Right now, its a toss between two (2) models, the Oris Artelier Chronograph and the Oris Artelier Complication. In either case, I am thinking of getting the one with a white dial so I can easily use black or brown leather deployant strap/clasp.Now, since it will be my first Oris purchase, I dunno which to get between the two (2)? I've never had the classic hesalite speedy. I've had variations, but most did not stick. I knew this was necessary given where I'm at with watches, but I wasn't planning on it just yet.But I was there. And it's so nice. Sits perfect on the wrist. And yeah, something about the hesalite. Kind of enjoying having to wind it manually too.
