Hublot introduced a new landmark for the brand this January: its first moon-phase watch. The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon prominently displays the phases of the moon on its skeletonized dial.The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon places its moon-phase display just beneath the hands at 6 o’clock. The partially frosted subdial obscures the moon’s passage so that only its current phase can be seen. It shows two convex spherical moons, which appear and disappear in keeping with passage of the 29.5-day lunar month. This subdial is 13 mm in diameter.Around this subdial is a simple date display. Well almost Some times I wonder how the Seiko watches are designed and who are the designers anyway? Some of their watches have excellent basic cases and forms but then don't look all right, at least to meSo I decided to give it a shot and improve one of these watches. Of course this is subjective and it is entirely my opinion, however I wanted to share the data and photos for the benefit of all. I posted this in some other forums before finding this one, I would like to share my thoughts and photos of this watch as I think it is worth it. A couple of months ago I decided that the Seiko Monster was too small for me, so sold the two I had, at that time I bought the parts for the Sumo project I did. However I was still looking for another 44mm divers watch. I had the SRP043 which I think is perfect in just about every sense, looks and functionality. 16700 vs 16750: Which gets more love?
I've seen some respect for the GMT Master 16750,. It I get the impression that the 16700 gets a bit less attention. Am I wrong? I know that both models have the quickset date and I know that the 16750 has the acrylic crystal / matte dial, while the 16700 has the white gold lined indecies and sapphire crystal. What am I missing? Which is the superior reference in your opinion and why?
