Cartier Cartier 1917 wrist watches news:
As an watches-dealer guest, Hugh Taylor from Xupeswatches-dealer (a pre-owned watches and luxury goods dealer in the UK) once again interviews their in-house master watchmaker, Mickey Nolan, as he proceeds to explain and dissemble three different movements that have all found homes within Omega Seamaster watches. Like many timepieces which have been produced for a number of years, the movements inside those watches evolve and change. I have started a couple of threads in other forums about watches I bought yesterday. I bought a box of watches at an estate auction to get a Railroad Approved Accutron that was in the box. Now I'm having a wonderful time going through the rest of the watches to see what I have, what works etc. I shook this one a couple of times and it took off running upon which my wife claimed it and took off with it. Can anybody give me some idea what I have, how old it may be, is it a lady's watch or a man's watch etc. Any help will be appreciated.
Going to be heading to the Time Crafters on Saturday 9/15. Looks to be a great event with a lot of the brands showing. I know a few friends that attended last year's event and said it was great. Here's the link if anyone is interested..timecrafters/
Hey guys,Was in Cancun couple weeks ago and got a price for a DJ 41, Blue Dial, Fluted Bezel, and Oyster band for $8200, and I regret not getting it when I had the chance, and now to find out SoCal dealers are pricing it in the high 8's or even no discount at all. (Retail $9,350)Do you guys have any recommendations what percentage I should be looking for off the watch, and any recommendations on where to go?Thanks again!
