Illinois wristwatch winding stem
I have an Illinois Viking with a three piece case and 307 movement. The winding stem is loose and remains in the setting position and won't snap back into place. I am able to push the crown in to wind with no problem. Wearing a watch that sets itself is a problem! Any help would be much appreciated.

Guys, I haven't been wearing my ROO 'The Very first One' lately. After looking at Wayne's pictures of his recent acquisition that looks just like mine, I decided to pull mine out of the bank today and continue to enjoy wearing it. After I got my Diver, I started wearing this piece less often. Last time I put it on was back in November at the F1 GP of Austin. Today I am reporting the state of my watch:Still some bright lume on it! A balmy afternoon on the east coast to ready my T16570 for the summer to come.Everest strap loving the AR cyclops.To those interested in comparing Everest and Rubber B, the Everest is thicker, slightly softer and a tad longer, but I prefer Rubber B because of its vanilla rubber scent, subtle but made a difference.I feel that Rubber B is better suited for the old / slimmer case, whereas Everest being slightly beefier is better suited for the 6 digit references, ie ceramics.
