Scratches on Seamaster
I know that John has written about how to remove the scratches from the seamaster clasp with a scotch-brite sponge which I will be doing soon. However, my watch is the 2200.51.00 which has a stainless steel bracelet. Is it possible to approach the bracelet, or even consider taking scracthes off, with a scoth brite sponge? Also, if it is allowed would one do it with the grain gently like John describes? I have had my watch for less than a week and it is already scratched. I am betting it is because of my wrist touching the desk while I type.

So last night I were browsing the net, minding my own business, when I stumbled upon a local (South Africa) listing for Invicta watches. I looked through the sellers lists and found this brilliant buy. It's a Seiko SNDA27P1 "Desert Storm" Military watch - and when I saw it, I just had to have it. I don't know what it is about this watch - but I just love it! I like the way of how it reminds me somewhat of the dials in an aeroplane's cockpit, the 'butch' I can do anything look - amazing! Anyways, I contacted the seller - paid for it and this morning went to go pick it up - half and hours drive from me...Some photos:

She arrived today. I say almost grail because my current (attainable) grail was a El Primero Chronomaster Grand Date but this one came a long at a price that I couldn't pass up and it is pretty close to the Grand Date. Anyways, I am thrilled so far, enjoy the pics.

Hi,I need some help choosing a watch from PP and cant get my head around what¡¯s the right watch for me. Of course I would like to have the Nautilus or the Aquanaut but due to the crazy waiting I am thinking of buying a something else until I can get my hands on one of those. Requirements: Budget max 30k euroI wear all my watches so it must be able to handle itCurrently have a Sub, Old Cartier dress watch and some sport watches.Watch need to be in steel, white gold or platinumWhite dial I would like to buy new PP from AD Would you chose one of the Caltravas models or from the complication collection?I have been looking at 5153G, 5227G, 5296G, 5296G. What would you recommend? Ideas? Or maybe go Vintage and by a Comex (if I can find one)? Im not a big fan of AP and the royal oak...
