Hi There...1st post!!I have had my Chronomat Evolution for 5 years and would like to have watch and stainless steel strap polished. Anyone recommend anywhere in UK and approx what this would cost??Ps Watch is in great condition but just want to polish out very minor scratches on strap?

Ok, so I've made a few rough calculations and have figured out that I can start dreaming about watches worth about $4k, with a hope to be able to get one within the next 12 months! I'm happy not buying any other watches in that period, if that'll help me stick to my goal! It'll pretty much be my grail, and may I add, the most expensive watch for the next 5 years at least.I was generally browsing through some other makes and realised that a few watches from IWC, Ulysse Nardin, and even JLC fall within the price range.But, as much as I may love the other watches also, I somehow can't imagine myself spending so much money on anything but a RolexI know that I'll be lying if I said that I wasn't interested in the brand value it has in the eyes of the non WIS community. Cheep Mechanical watches from Japan.
Hi all. I'm new to these forums so I hope i'm posting this in the right place. First I would like to say hello to everyone, hope to gain some knowledge about watches from you all if I can as i'm also newish to watch collecting. I'm primerily interested in vintage mechanical watches, and have a few nice examples such as :- Rado, Omega, Oris, Junghams, Faro to name a few. Recently though i've found whilst browsing ebay for mechanical watches that there are a lot of cheep mechanical watches comeing from Hong Kong. I've looked through quite a few listings and examined the photographs of these watches closely. THEY LOOK GOOD, I thought to myself. Mabe future collectors item's. But then I thought they probubly aint as good as they look, so I decided to buy one for the princely sum of 9 EUROS includeing postage. It took about three weeks to come and i'd totaly forgot that I had ordered it when it arrived. When I opened the package, I have to say that I was shocked and also amazed at

Incoming 3523.81 Japan Speedmaster Triple Date 2002
I almost bought this model 3 months ago but pulled back. Found another one this week from a Trusted Ebay Japan Seller and managed to win the auction. Apparently this is a JDM only watch and only 1000 were made. Here are pictures from Eiji's posting (if I can get it to work). Any triple date fans out there?
