This past November I had the rare opportunity to sit on the jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. Orbita Sparta Issue
Hello I just purchased a Orbita Sparta Deluxe Single Watch Winder with Lithium Batteries. When I first took a look at the protruding metal point where the cup attaches, I noticed it was slightly cocked to the side. Initially I could only get the cup on part way. After over an hour of messing around and trying to push it on, finally it went on, and now when I remove it, it does have the bearing on it that was initially on the metal protruding end coming out of the motor. At first after this the cup would not spin freely after it was rotated. However, it does appear to be working now. I noticed the back of the cup has a small rubber nub with a thin piece of steel inside, which is what is actually used by the motor for the initial rotation before gravity takes over. This seems very flimsy. So far I am very disappointed, as the case won't stay open on its own either. Can anyone else sound off and let me know what there experience has been with Orbita? 2254.50 for a 2209.50?
I've recently been thinking about selling my 2254.50 and replacing it with the 2209.50. The Seamaster pro is in great shape, I've had it since '05 the only issue with it was the clasp got hung up on something and has a couple deep scratches however, I just ordered a replacement so that should really be a non-issue.Would any one else consider doing the same switch if they were in my position? Or should I stick with the classic Seamaster Pro?

I would like to see a Railmaster w/8500 movement . . . and date complication . . .
I love my 36.2mm Railmaster. Although I like the new Seamaster AT watches with Teak dial and 8500 movement, I think a 38.5mm Railmaster Date run by the 8500 would be fantastic.
