Chopard 8955 wrist watches news:
There can be little doubt that Heinrich Moser never foresaw the conditions under which the descendants of his first timepieces would be tested 187 years after the foundation of the company in 1828. Based in Neuhausen, Switzerland, H. Moser & Cie. manufactures hairsprings and regulating organs, which feature in their 8 in-house calibres as well as the wares of their partner companies. Despite having just 50 employees, the company is no stranger to world-firsts. Last month, on September 22nd, H. Moser & Cie. took part in the first Swiss parabolic flight. With the assistance and expertise of the Swiss Air Force, the performance of watch components featured in the newly released H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer collection were tested in a weightless environment. The flight was made possible by Witschi Electronics and in-flight support from engineer Johannes Mayr.In order to achieve weightlessness and experience a zero-gravity environment, a fixed wing aircraft follows an elliptic flight
Saw this incredible piece worn by a true gentlemen at a Starbucks in Boston over the weekend, what a beauty! Wow I spotted the watch as we both entered, I immediately knew it was a 44mm but as I got closer I couldn't even believe it. Took the opportunity to compliment the watch to the owner as he told me the story about how the watch was delivered to him in Boston from an AD in St Barts directly in person. He was also a car guys and had a few other APs but we didn't get a chance to go into details....As we were ordering our drinks, without us knowing it, he had already paid for our drinks, pretty cool gesture I had a great talk with him and I will probably never top this spotting! lol
Saw the new Entourage movie this weekend. The AP marketing department must have been working overtime on this one because EVERY character of note in the film is wearing an AP. Some even switch pieces throughout the movie. You can get a nice overview of the entire RO and ROO lineup in all metals if one was to watch the movie. I easily spotted 10 different models. It made watching a little more interesting.
Hi I know it's Omega sub forum but still want to hear your opinion. I am thinking of trading my half year old Hulk for BNIB Omega Speedmaster GSOTM, should I do it? If so, should I expect cash on top or what is a good trade? Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
friends,i am again thinking of getting a nautilus chrono and essentially the choice comes down to 5980AR (the gold/steel nautilus) or the 5980R-001 (red gold case on croc leather). pics of both watches are attached. the AR has the beautiful blue dial but may be considered a bit retro for the bi-color case and bracelet while the R-001 model has a full gold case but it is overall rather similar to my 5712R....which one would you go for, as a nice piece to stay in my collection for possibly long without getting hit by a lot of depreciation?i should add that i have excluded the 5980/1R-001 (full gold case and bracelet) since i already have a 5711R.
