Omega 4116.70.00 wrist watches news:
Welcome a new generation of IWC Portuguese with the Portuguese Chronograph Classic. From a marketing perspective,?IWC has been dedicating each year to a particular watch collection. 2013 is all about the Ingenieur, but again, that is just from a marketing and PR perspective. There is more on the IWC plate. Another new release for 2013 is rather important for fans of the Portuguese collection. Updated and arguably more sporty than ever, this is the best Portuguese chronograph watch to date. Called the Portuguese Chronograph Classic, it builds on the design of the?Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph that was originally debuted in 2012 (hands-on here). The Portuguese Chronograph Classic isn't meant to replace the standard Portuguese Chronograph, but rather to offer a different flavor. It borrows heavily (including the movement) from the Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph, and is a sort of hybrid model between the sportier Yacht Club and the standard Chronograph. Compared to the standard Chron
Found this on the Dutch Rolex Forum, thought it would be interesting to share here..[...] The first thing you'll notice about this watch that makes it different from all other Comex Rolexes is that it's a GMT, not a Submariner or Sea-Dweller, meaning it is NOT a diving watch. Comex is, after all, the deep sea diving group that works with all off-shore oil companies, so it makes sense their watches would be divers. The other attribute you'll notice is missing on this Comex GMT is the name "COMEX" on the face. Having that name on the face of your Rolex is half the fun of owning a piece from this diving company; it acts as a secret seal that identifies you to other real watch fans as someone who "gets it".However, having a Comex Rolex without the name on the front might be even more fun when talking to real watch guys, although it won't get you noticed quite as quickly when you're out and about.Anyways, we digress. So why is this watch an aviator's watch and why does it not look like any
Well my Seiko Sportura, F1 Honda Racing watch just showed up! I intend this to be a nice everyday watch and I'm really liking this so far. I've raced Honda's (MX) for many years, as well as being a fan of F1, so it was nice to have the oppertunity to pick up this timepiece within my price range. Simple pics as of now, I'll try and drag my wife's SLR out to get some better ones!
I had a great time at the AP boutique yesterday, wonderful experience ogling over a few pieces before deciding on my very first AP.Thanks to all who responded to my previous thread here .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=502077I had contemplated on getting an AP in my upcoming trip to London next week but upon further consideration, I¡¯ve decided to just get one at home especially since I was dead set on getting a blue dial. Also the 5 years warranty is a bonus, an added peace of mind.Sorry, the photos from my phone do not really do justice to these fine timepieces.A couple of ROOsPurchasing my first but already decided that the either the Navy Blue or the Safari is going to be my next!
