I've been close with Swiss watch designer Yvan Arpa for years, and I understand his particular blend of humor and unorthodox style. What are your impressions of the PAM 113 white face? Do you find it plain looking? Would it just look like a big clock on your wrist becasue it looks plain with all numbers and no date? Would an AD discount it? How would the movement compare to Omega's movement?

Negotiating the price of a watch.
Ok, I had a great experience when I bought my wifes Patek last month. I am the type of customer who wants the seller to tell me the great price, and I either bite or not. With the Patek, it was listed high, I talked to him 3 times and on the 3rd time, he told me the price I was willing to pay, ans I bought. Now I am interested in a Ulysse Nardin Maxi. On my 5th e-mail, the guy only keeps telling me I need "come up to the market". He wont state a price, so I am done with him. Bottom line is, I want the lowest price, he wants the highest price, and neither will blink first. I however believe it is the sellers responsibility to blink first. In this case, the willingness not to link 1st is costing him an easy sale. All I ask it to be given a fair price we can both live with.
