Chopard 8501 wrist watches news:
Zenith has come a long way from being a maker of fine movements to fine looking watches. Having died for a while some years ago, the brand returned vigilant in its desire to make bold looking watches without counterpart. The Zenith Defy Extreme line is the epitome of that pursuit. Nothing looks quite like it, and at the same time, it does not require any particular explanation to justify itself. It seems to be the logical extension of the brute looks, Hollywood military design, and exotic materials that make up the models.Just look at the propellers that make up the sub dials and you will know what this watch professes to move forward with a high velocity. Then you will notice the stars that make up some of the numeral indicators and think you are a general wearing their watch to battle. No other timepiece I know says luxury with military hints in quite the same way.I have a fondness for watches like this because they embody pure utilitarian fantasy. Hello all, I recently purchased a watch that is broken and am hoping to repair. It's a wind up watch. When I went in to get it repaired, the jeweler said that it will cost at least $200 to inspect the watch and who knows how much more it'll be to fix it. He then said that if the watch is repaired that it would be worth $2000? Sounds kinda strange since I bought the watch for $20 at an antique shop. I just thought it looked beautiful. Anyway, will anyone help me determine the value of the watch and also how I might repair the watch in the most cost effective way? Best,Someone who does not know anything about watches.

Hello Rolex Forums! Most of the individuals on here have been purchasing/collecting much longer than I have. I've gotten into watches for about 2 years and it seems the more exposure to various brands/pieces I get, the more I'm feeling like it's never enough.Within the past two years I've managed to purchase various pieces ranging from an Omega Planet Ocean Casino Royale to a YMII SS. Every time I wanted a piece, it seemed like the price was unattainable. Then you work hard, get lucky, find a great deal and the moment you pull the trigger & put it on your wrist, one of the most amazing high's occur. However, it seems the more (quantity+value) I purchase, the less the high lasts and I end up looking for the next thing within a month.Does/Did this happen with any of the experience members? This post is not meant to be a humble brag, complaining, etc. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this and might be able to pass on some advice. Feels like I'm chasing the high rather th
