Hublot 403.OM.0123.RX wrist watches news:
Wow, I really want to go, but being in the US makes things hard. Watch2008 (Yes, there will be a Watch2009, etc...) is going to be an excellent show and dedicated to smaller and innovative watch makers that are more dedicated to the craft of making quality watches than some marketing image. An impressive list of manufacturers includes several I have never heard of, and plenty whose watches I will be lucky to ever see at all. There is something exciting about this. Especially owning one of these watch and knowing that you are likely the only person in your county (if not state) to own one.See the complete list of Watch2008 exhibitors here.Watch2008 will located at the Castle??Hoogenweerth in the Maastricht region of The Netherlands between Belgium and Germany. I've never been anywhere in the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam, and the Masstricht really couldn't be much further than Amsterdam and still in the country. It is situated in a scenic region between Germany and Belgium. Interesti
Today I went down to my local Rolex AD. I tried on a couple watches, and found that my two favorite were the green crystal Milgauss and the Submariner with a green bezel. Originally I was only aimed at the Milgauss, but I like the Submariner a lot as well. The Milgauss is $6400 and the Submariner is $6200, its a 50th anniversary edition btw and the dealer said it was being discontinued.I like both watches a lot, I think I might like the Milgauss a little more, but what do you think would be the wiser decision? Seeing that the Submariner is being discontinued, would it be a wiser investment as its value will rise?
Here are some images of this beautywife is complaining about me having too many pictures of the watches so I will have to include her as a model in the pictures soon.Enjoy...
New guy here, I just bought my 1st ORIS Carlos Coste edition Diver a few months ago. This was my first official Swiss made watch in my stable… I have been lusting for an ORIS for some time now. Well after trying it on it was an instant Love affair. The Case is a beautiful hunk of titanium. The case is 47mm but it wears more like a 44mm because the case is tapered (very comfy). The Dial is what sold me with it's beautiful raised and inlayed markers. The SuperLuminova C3 Lumes are bright and well defined. The rubber strap is very comfortable but the titanium bracelet just makes the watch complete IMO. I’m not a big fan of the whole Pepsi dial scheme but on my wrist, it’s just perfect. Hopefully I will be certified to dive by July so I can put that 6,561 feet to the test (LOL). Sorry about the crappy pictures...
Guys,Work is taking me to Hong Kong and then into mainland China for a week or so. I'm looking to acquire a Seiko 300M or 600M MarineMaster. I know these tend to be "Japanese only" models, but I've also heard of people picking these up in Hong Kong. Anyone know of a store with the higher end Seiko lines in HK or in the PRC?I'll also copy this to the General forum.
