Invicta 1317 wrist watches news:
Omega, which pioneered the use of innovative new materials and technologies in watchmaking, has introduced perhaps its most impressive technological accomplishment in recent years, the development of a wristwatch that is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,000 gauss, a level far exceeding that of any other watch. The announcement of the prototype watch, a Seamaster Aqua Terra model called the Omega Seamaster >15,000 Gauss, took place at a press conference in the penthouse of New York City’s? Setai building. The presentation, which included videos and a practical test involving real magnets, was conducted by Omega’s Stephen Urquhart and its vice-president and head of product development, Jean-Claude Monachon, along with Michel Willemin, CEO of the research-and-development lab ASULAB, and Thierry Conus, director of research and development at the movement-maker ETA. (Omega, ASULAB, and ETA are all owned by the Swatch Group.)Left to right: Thierry Conus, ETA directo
Hey guys!I usually hang out in the American Forum but I was hoping that the Omega experts would be able to help me out. I bought this 1918 Omega trench watch case in a job lot of watches, I actually was not even interested in this one until I took it apart. I was pleasantly surprised that it had an Omega makers mark! It's a four piece case. The top bezel is threaded so it unscrews to reveal two more inner parts that come apart. The inner case lugs side onto the outer part of the bottom of the case. I have taken pictures so show how it is pieced together for assembly. There is not a material stamp on the case or other parts anywhere but I believe it to be made of Aluminum possibly? Feels too light to be made of silver. All of the case stamps are matching at 5988658 dating it to 1918. Didn't Borgel make this type of case during the WWI period? It measures 43mm lug to lug and 35mm across. The ID of the inside movement holder measures 29.30mm (Lignes size 13). I can't find any reference to

Hi Dell, so this is my first post, i have recently (ie today) come into the possession of a Rolex Precision which was presented to the husband of a friend of my Grandmother's on his retirement from the Nestle Company London in December of 1961 after 40 years of employment there.I know this, as it is inscribed on the back!Below is a picture...(assuming this works!)i dont know when this model was being made, as i know very little about watches, but its inspired me to know! If anyone can fill me in about anything then please do!!
Hi guys,I fear I have come to a realisation. I'm at a stage where I yearn for so many that I have yet tasted. To realise that I have had the luck of having a dj tt, exp, milgauss, gmtiic, hulk and currently daytona in about 4 years. I thought each was wife material at the time but this forum has made me think if each as a girlfriend. I wish I had them all back but the monogamous creature I am meant I had to move on each time. Now can't stop looking at the 15400, am I a bad person to break up with my White SS daytona quite in the knowledge that, at some point, I will definitely be coming back???
