Ford Mustang VIN number 6F87CT85151 lived a rather average life. Born in early 1966, it toured the roads in style and power for years before it fell by the wayside after a minor accident. Left to sit in a field for far too long, what started as an easily repairable issue became unsalvageable as rust and decay set in. With a production run of over 600,000 in 1966 alone, it's by no means a unique story. Still, when talking about such an icon, it's always sad to see one fall through the cracks and become lost forever. Luckily for 6F87CT85151 and for the rest of us, the story didn't end there. Bracelet for Hamilton Khaki Field chrono?
I'm trying to find a bracelet to fit a 42mm Khaki Field chrono, which was originally equipped with a bracelet but is currrently on a strap. Interestingly, the bracelet models have slightly different lug hole spacing (case to lug hole) per Hamilton's factory advicewhich means that the straps end up making the lugs look slightly longer, as the gap between the watch case itself and the end of the strap is longer than designed for. That considered, I can't find these anywhere, was wondering if anyone might have a lead.

Right on time
I am not believing what a timekeeper this thing is. I set it by the official U.S Clock after I got it home last week. This morning, some four days later, it is 3 seconds fast! I don't have an automatic or another hand-winder nearly this accurate, and this with a watch whose movement was sent for finishing in March, 1923. Maybe Hamilton Electric or someone else with expertise in pocket watches can tell me if I am unusually lucky, or what?

Soon the 40th...
Next year is going to be the 40th anniversary of the Jumbo since it was launched in 1976, what do you think they will do for the occasion? have a feeling that they will try to do like AP did for the 40th of their jumbo, which means make one which will be the closest to the original model, the actual RO is almost exactly the same as the original, so I think we will see the new model without seconds hand, with the same kind of color, and I may be wrong but the 40th might be a good occasion for them to make a new clasp for the Nautilus bracelet.Even if for Patek the Nautilus is not as important as the RO for AP, it is still a big part of the Patek history and will surely be treated as such for the anniversary, can anyone tell us what they did, if they did something special, for the 10, 20 and 3O year anniversaries of the Jumbo?I think if I was planning to get a 5711 I would wait 1 year and see what happens, it would still be possible to score a 5711 through the grey dealers or order the n
