A. Lange & Sohne 404035 wrist watches news:
I feel the hands are Wrong, all the Nautilus 602 Photo's I have seen thus far seem to have pointed hands, but, since there are more experienced Members here I pose the question, to see if its possible a Nautilus 602 came out with these hands at any time ?
I have always enjoyed watches, but my tastes and my wallet tend to run in the hundreds, not the thousands or tens of thousands (if you hang long enough on timezone, you'll come to think that no one there changes their oil or goes to the gym in a watch with less than 3 zeros attached.)But, one thing I have always enjoyed, from the moment they arrived, were Swatch watches. Affordable, thoughtfully made, whimsical, they put a Swiss watch on everyone's wrist and the Swiss watch industry back in the map, if not back on it's feet. When I discovered, a few years ago, that Swatch had made automatics, I was elated. When I learned that the ETA 2842 movement (originally a 23 jewel movement, now 21 jewel) that they used was one of the most commonly used workhorse movements in the industry and common in watches selling for several thousand dollars, the irony wasn't lost on me. For under $200 (usually $90-$150), you can get a 21 to 23 jewel Swiss watch by one of the largest names in watches. And,
In the last 2 months I have acquired 2 new watches, the Rolex 116718 and the AP Diver. While I absolutely love the yellow gold GMT, the one watch I currently enjoy the most and find myself admiring above my other watches is the Diver. I think it is stunning and find myself fantasizing about a ceramic ROO...
Since the Oysterflex is only available in black for a few.Instead of predicting new watches, I like to see Oysterflex to be available in more colours and available for all models across the board.
Hi all,I’m new to the forums and I am looking to buy my very first Rolex Datejust. I had a look on the official Rolex website and the price was ?8050 for a 36mm however when I go to find a retailer on the Rolex site they all have the model priced at an extra ?1500. Is this normal? Or will any official retailer sell the watch for the same price on the Rolex website?I want a brand new watch so ideally don’t want to go into a jeweller who deals in second hand watches. I don’t really care about getting a discount but I just don’t want to have to pay another ?1500 on top of Rolex’s retail price.
