Hublot 301.PX.130RX.114 wrist watches news:
Is it silver or steel?thanksMike
My uncle has just given me this watch as a gift; it belonged to my great-grandfather, who wore it for about 8 years before he died, and then was stored away by my grandfather (my uncle's father) for 20 years before he died (and then for at least 25 years by my uncle, till now). AFAIK it hasn't been serviced for at least 50 years. After my grandfather died, my grandmother gave this watch to my uncle, and my grandfather's late-50s ref. 2484 Patek Philippe to me. Since that time I had always thought these had been purchased at the same time and were identical, except for the engraving, but I was shocked to discover my error (I obviously wasn't a vintage watch collector the only time I saw these together, in the mid-80s). An interesting thing about this one is that, despite the appearance of the spring bars, they appear to be fixed, so it needs an open-end strap. Unfortunately, I am away from home till later today, without access to any tools, so I have no way to remove the case back (to d
......I picked this little guy ( actuall maybe not so little .....32mm including the crown, and 39mm lug tip to lug tip) .....and now I have 2 ! white and yellow gold Elgins of the 30s .........So should I get this one re-dialed ? ...the numbers really shine quite nicely through the ...ahempatina........Are the hands correct ? ..........It doesn't run wound too tight, but the balance wheel spins freely when I blow gently on it ......and from the edge ..........and from the edge, where the 2 metal colors really show up the best.....and of course the movement ......so whatcha think ? .....
Anyone else notice this on the new GMT? Will this be standard across all Rolex now?
So I noticed today my wardrobe is mostly made up of pink and purple shirts and the days I feel like capturing a picture of what I'm wearing, I'm wearing either color above.Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
