Just wondering PalsWhat the best deal you ever had on a watch was?Buying experience only please. We can work out the gains or otherwise in another thread. In terms of discounts my best deal has to be that De Ville Co-Axial Byzantium. The AD had a sale on in the spring of 2006 and I snapped it up at 40% discount.
Does anybody have any pictures, experiences, or comments about Patek cufflinks?Do you any of you match patek cufflinks with patek watches?Do any of you think it is a bit to much to have both a watch and cufflinks with the calatrava cross or the nautilus shape? Is the price worth it?
372 for me and that's all I need. yes 372 is that good of a Panerai. I literally stop buying Panerai since I got my 372. I sold off my 000, 312, 328, 305, 88 and 561.Best regards, James
Something odd happened tonight.I was getting dressed for the evening and I when I looked at my watch at around 6:18 it was still at 6, almost like my minute hand stopped but the second hand was still running. When I looked at the watch it was at 6 and it clearly wasn¡¯t stuck, it advanced to 6:01 as I watched it. I¡¯ve been wearing it all day so I don¡¯t see how it wouldn¡¯t have been wound, but that¡¯s the only answer, right? That the reserve ran out? It¡¯s a 1999 sea dweller that I got back last week from a service when it was corrected from running almost +15s a day down to +3 a day. It¡¯s been running good and keeping great time since. Anyone have any thoughts? Should I just not worry about it?
