Harry Winston AVCQHM19WW123 wrist watches news:
I ended with 3 of this model. Two non-runners were dirt cheap and I found a running one for a good deal as well. All of the dials have some level of radium burn and patina, of the 3, this was the best and I'm pretty happy with it.As I was setting the second hand, the black paint on it just crumbled off, so at some point I'll have to repaint the arm up to the red arrow. Maybe at some point, I'll send one of the dials off to ID to see what they can do with it. I did re-lume the hands, as the radium had fallen out at some point. The case is stainless steel, and as you can see, has a coin edge motif.
I own but one Hamilton. It's a King Scuba automatic. Fine watch IMO. I'm interested in their quartz chronograph models and would like to know which movement they use in them. Hoping its one of the Eta 251 series or better. I need another G10 version like I need a second pair of feets. Thanks in advance for your wisdom here. SS
Is this something you would do?I own a blue 5711 which I really enjoy wearing, and do love a lot, but really can't get over the AP 15202. The octagonal design, the screws, and the movement, with the dial, just make a really cool watch. I don't think it makes much sense having both these pieces in a small collection of 4 watches, as they serve the same purpose.Would you flip, and add cash, for an AP Jumbo and Patek aqua on rubber?Or would you keep the 5711, and eventually add something else that catches your eye?
Looking for some ideas for my new 312.
Put on your lunettes de soleil please. Most expensive GMT Master 116710 in steel that I have ever seen - note NOT 116719
