The marvelous Rumba alarm watch, produced by the esteemed watchmaker Bvlgari, is clearly identifiable by its cushion-shaped case, endowed with an original system of movable bracelet attachments.Launched in a limited series of 999 pieces, the Rumba watch is equipped with a self-winding alarm movement - AS 5008. This remarkable mechanism incorporates a double barrel and features a special embellishment. The movement is also marked with an individual number. It serves to animate the functions of hours, minutes, seconds as well as that of alarm.

How likely is this?
I recently sold a Vintage TT Datejust 1601. The buyer calls me yesterday and tells me the bracelet is a poor 10 kt after market with real correct end pieces and a correct real Rolex clasp on it. He said his "watch guy" determined this with a hand held laser. I was mortified, and if true will make good on it. How likely is it that someone would go to all the trouble of putting legit end pieces and a real clasp on a cheap bracelet? I told him that I wanted to see it in writing from an AD or Rolex as I wasn't just going to take his word.If true, what is just the watch head worth(just serviced) or how much should I deduct? Thanks for any opinions as I have never had this happen.

My navitimers date is white with black writing, I saw two in my local store last weekend thathad a black date with white writing. have they changed this to blend more with the face of thewatch? Or is this just a temporary thing ?

I know this is the Watch Talk Forum but I hope you'll indulge me in my celebrations on my new aquisition.A Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Phase de Lune. This is an absolute exquisite example of horology at it's finest in my opinion. This clock never needs winding as it is powered completely by a diaphram that fluctuates with changes in temperature. One degree change is enough to power the almost frictionless movement for 48 hours. The moon phase is accurate to within in one day in 3821 years. So, basically I can set it up and just sit back and admire the genius innovations and exceptional craftmenship that make this clock a fine example of holorology at its greatest.Some quick and dirty shots.....And finally here it is in all its gloryIt came with it's own suede carry bagI even got some nice cotton gloves for handling the clock with.
