Patek Philippe 5125R Wempe wrist watches news:
Hey guys!I know that we have had discussions about this fellow in the past but he has now turned it into overdrive!!!He usually sells the bunk WWII watches that are Hamilton, Elgin, Waltham & Bulova but he is now trying to move into the WWI era.I have no idea how he is doing it but he is now making NEW enamel dials from Elgin's "Star Dial Series". (possibly plastic)I honestly thought that the set up costs for manufacturing new dials would be to high for anybody to do this and turn a profit.Metal dials are cheap to have re-finished but ENAMEL ? ? ?Look at the lip on the on the sub-dial, definitely not a metal dial.By the way Elgin stopped manufacturing the REAL ONES in 1920 ! !Elgin never even made the first enamel FAKE white dial below, it is of his own design. This design was ONLY available in a metal dial!WW1 Elgin Military Pershing Watch Great Cond White Dial WW1 Elgin Military Pershing Watch Great Cond White Dial I am only talking about the dials here, cases were always a variab
I just tossed a new battery into this watch. I am getting no love though. Do these instructions show that maybe I need to reset something? I am not seeing it. microma ins.jpgThanksJustin
Always wanted an Omega 2255.80 and finally got one. It's a pre-loved Omega, but it's in great condition, came with box and all paperwork, and got it for an incredible deal compared to new.
I can't afford to hold on to all 3 for long term . . . (I mean I could but it would take me a bit to pay off the extra watch which is always a bad idea) . . . so 1 of these 3 has to go:16700 pepsi GMT16570 polar Explorer 2114060 no date SubCI picked up a 16700 with the intentions of selling my Sub but am now thinking perhaps the 16570 polar should go instead. The subC is miles ahead in build quality over the other 2. The one I'm least likely to sell is the GMT. My only other watch is a blue Bond Omega quartz. I know, I have a thing for dive watches. Which would you get rid of if you had to choose? And since everyone loves pictures . . .
