Longines 876.5238 wrist watches news:
Like its predecessors, the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 is obviously a legacy watch. Grandiose pieces likely don't see the most wrist time. That, however, doesn’t make them any less grandiose. This watch is essentially composed of two independent sections. They are geometrically recognizable as circles versus square. Like every other installment in the Histoire de Tourbillon series, each section of the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 explores and evolves the concept of the tourbillon. 1 OF 7 The orbs to the left of the case are part of a tri-axial tourbillon, which means three different spins in one. The balance wheel cage spins every 45 seconds inside a second cage, which spins every 75 seconds on its own vertical axis. This pair is housed inside a third, spherical cage that revolves every 300 seconds. Who here remembers prime factorization? [45 = 32 × 51] [75 = 31 × 52] [300 = 22 × 31 × 52], which gives us 22 × 32 × 52 = 900 seconds (o
Hi guys n gals, I have inherited a brand new buben & zorweg time mover executive that has the winding for 4 watches and storage for another 6. It has never been out of its box and infant was still in the cardboard box it first came in. What I do not have is a power supply and I do not know voltage to buy?I know it's got 2 six volt supplies inside via 4 batteries of 1.5 volts either side but I do not know what the power supply would be. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It is a family heirloom now so I will be interested to know when these were made? Many thanks in advance.Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
recently back from the doctor...is c.1910 with a so-called Louis XIV dial. The Watch Specialties movement is stamped with the D.G & S logo for D. Gruen & Sons...according to the Gruen history website, Watch Specialties was a Gruen subsidiary that made their movements prior to Gruen's Guild movements. The Gruen sterling case measures 25.5mm with the movement oriented like a pocket watch with the 12 o'clock hour at the 3 o'clock position...
It's essentially an advertisement for Maurice Lacroix (nothing wrong with that), but it's sort of fun to watch. youtube/watch?v=wVjRKVCnNFgFamily, food and watches sounds good to me.
Hi All,Fairly new member here but have been bitten by the watch bug. I bought my first 116610LN from Takuya last year and have come to really appreciate Rolex and the feeling I get from wearing it. Something I take pride in, as silly as it may sound to some. In any case, I am looking for another Rolex to add to the collection sometime this year. My collection so far includes: IWC Portugieser Chronograph Classic 390404Grand Seiko Snowflake SBGA211Rolex Submariner 116610LNThe watches that I am considering are a little varied: Rolex BLNR - Sporty and beautiful in design in my opinion. The GMT function is also a plus although I only travel 2-3 times a year. Is it too similar to the SubC?Rolex Explorer 214270 - Love that this is a sporty yet classy watch that can have various looks depending on the strap. A great everyday watch.Rolex Datejust 41mm - A bit more dressy but could be the dressy watch in my collection. Intrigued by the rhodium/blue dial. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
