Chopard 161268-5010 wrist watches news:
Anybody here own a portofino chrono? Any thoughts good or bad? I've been lusting after a portugese watch, but with the high price, it's just out of my range. I need a watch with a date on it. I wasn't that crazy about the portofino chrono at first, but the more i look at it, the more i seem to like it. And at under 4k list, it seems to be a pretty decent value for an IWC with all the features on it.[IMG][/IMG]
I'm sure I'm not alone on this board, but I find myself, at times, admiring the particular watch I happen to be wearing at the moment. When this happens during a meeting, or during a conversation, I sometimes get funny looks! You know, the "What the heck is he looking at the time for, again!" look. I don't know if it's just me or if others have experienced the same thing!
The versatility and comfort of this baby... just awesome...What are we all wearing?!
HelloI wanted to know in what year the model 111 starts to have the box called sandwich? And what letter of series? Thanks a lot.
Just thought I'd do this review of a waterproof strap over time and exposing it to various water conditions. The strap in question is:Pre-V by MP Tantalum Kodiak 100% Waterproof leather with sewn in Pre-V buckle 26/24 125/75Watch is my 232.I'm trying to take pictures of the dry watch at work under the same horrible lighting and no windows. It should give me a consistent lighting picture and I plan to use only my iPhone for pics. This way we can see if strap colors fad over time. So, here it is day 1 installed at work. It is a thinner strap (I like thinner straps).I wore it on the 3rd hole when I took these pictures, but decided it was too loose. I figured since I'm getting this wet, I'm gonna try and stretch it as well. That same day I switched it to he second hole and it was almost painfully tight. Let's say it was very uncomfortable.Day 1 out of the bag. I decided to start quick and throughly rinsed it in bathroom sink and proceeded with my attempt at stretching it to fit me bet
