- great look, gives me lot of nostalgia, as it makes me remember my days as a student in Europe. Seems well built, only time will say about its reliability.

Breguet 5829BB/8D/9ZU.DD0D wrist watches news:
Hi. I am a newbie here and to collecting watches as well. I have wanted a pocket watch and have recently gone mad buying some of interest on the online auction site. I have found some very useful information about my watches thanks to links I read here. So far I have bought an 18s Elgin ser#3226443 in a CWCCco. case, an 18s Elgin sidewinder ser#2694783 in a nickel-silver case by Illinois Watch Case Co., 6s Waltham ser#5760791 in a Keystone Case Co. hunter case (with original factory paper label) 10k gold-filled, 0s Waltham ser#15651650 in a B&B Royal hunter case,8s Ingersoll Waterbury Radiolite ser3867753 in a Supreme IWCCo. case8s Ingersoll Waterbury ser#608170 in a case marked made for Waterbury by Illinois WCCo. Elgin all of which are running. I have paid less than $75 for each of these and am pleased with them all. My questions are: does anyone have a source for a shop near western North Carolina (Cullowhee) to take them to be cleaned and serviced? 2) Does anyone know why the l
I'd like to buy a Khaki, but I think I might want to replace the canvas straps with a nice waterproof leather strap. Is this easy to do? Are the brands of straps that I should look into? Does anybody sell genuine Hamilton straps? Thanks
My first Watch is a Klaus Kobec Quartz Chronograph( what quartz watch is not a chrono hehehe) that lost both its case connect pins (whatever that's called) and a mean chip on the Mineral Glass. Battery finally died in its third go around and I will not recessitate anymore." though you were a good little Soldier with your Japanese Quartz chugging along reminding me of my tardiness and important dates, thank you for your devoted service and may your reincarnation be into a Swiss".
While I love the bracelet, I've always wondered what the 15400 would look like on an AP rubber strap. Anyone out there do this mod yet? I suspect it will have a similar look to the RO on leather that I've seen some great pics of here on the forum (which I am a fan of) but curious if anyone has actually done the conversion with rubber. Gentlemen, I'd appreciate your thoughts on my PP Chrono conundrum. I currently have a 5980 White dial that will be coming back from service after about 4.5 months. It's in beautiful almost mint condition and has been my favorite chrono. As you know, the 5980 white dial had a shorter run than the generally more preferred blue dial 5980.During the service period, my AD contacted me to let me know I'm scheduled to receive the 5990 this Fall. I really like both and can keep both but feel having two chrono's might be redundant.Your thoughts as to what would you do? Thanks for your time!
