Maurice Lacroix ML-FA1003-SD502-170 wrist watches news:
In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I look at the recent phenomenon of “smartwatches” released by technology companies and weigh in on whether these devices are destined to supplant the mechanical watch and conquer that valuable piece of real estate that is the wrists of watch wearers.Samsung?just presented its Galaxy Gear, Sony?has its SmartWatch, Pebble?sells an?E-Paper Watch and Apple will probably announce its iWatch very soon.Recently, I have been asked many times what I personally think of those “smartwatches.” Even a well-known European newspaper wanted to hear my opinion. In short, I am not sure if these watches are likely to become a mass phenomenon on our wrists. After all, years ago, Seiko presented a “television-watch” for the wrist that could receive dozens of programs, but the watch flopped. Why? The design was awful and who wanted to watch TV on his wrist? Samsung Galaxy GearToday, I see the same issues. Smartphones have a
Does anyone have a broad arrow GMT white (#3581.30) with some wrist shots so I can see what it actually looks like? Trying to make-up my mind on the Omega or a white Panerai 113.Thanks.
Can't afford it and probably even if I could, couldn't wear it LOLBut this is imo the most interesting Panerai made in years !I love the looks ! the dial, bezel, case, it's amazing.simple but amazing300 pce and the true collectors item for every panerai lover BUT 60 mm makes it for 90% of us impossible to wear.Would you buy a watch you love but will probably wear less than 1 week per year ? Does it give you enough satisfaction, just knowing that you own a real collectors piece, being able to look at it every evening but not being able to wear it.(or only at Panerai GTG and probably Halloween :) :) :))Would you buy it if you could ??Remember this is probably a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. It wouldn( surprice me at all if those pieces would sell for at least the double once they left the AD.some pics : credits to Nicolas from the purists
Recently my rotor stopped spinning and being impatient and curious I took the case back off and the rotor spun freely. I put the back on and the rotor was stuck againafter scratching my head for a minute i loosened the screws 1/2 turn on the side the rotor was getting stuck on. This works but I really don't like the idea lightly torqued screws. Is there anywhere I can get just the case back? Because that's what seems to be the problem...
I am still looking for a GMT watch but now with a twist of diver function as the rotating bezel should show 60 min rather than 24 hours. I use that function all the time.I really like the Invicta 6349 but it's a HUGE watch with 47mm bezel. I also like the Benarus Worldiver but apparently they all sold out.Any other similar recommendations?Amazon: Invicta Men's 6349 Pro Diver Collection GMT Stainless Steel Mesh Watch: WatchesBenarus Worldiver GMT - Just Ordered or Arrived Today! - General Watch Discussions - Watch Freeks
