Planet Ocean 8500 Movement
Hi Can anyone help with my dilemma. Finding it hard to decide on which Planet Ocean to Purchase.Do I go for the new PO With 8500 movement or the limited edition liquidmetal with old 2500 movement. Both are similar in price.Any comments much appreciated.

Why? The hands are on so tight (especially on the chronographs) that they are very difficult to remove without damaging them. The easiest way to handle them is to just tear them off and charge the customer for a new set.The fact is that a good watchmaker can remove and replace them without doing any damage. There might be good reasons to replace them, but why if they still look new?Here's a couple of before and after overhaul pics I posted in the General Discussion Forum.And 3 1/2 hours later (with many interruptions).The hands on this baby would have cost this customer an extra $85, but the originals were used.Steve

Replacing h series 111, sandwich or painted dial?
Hi everyone, I'd like to get some advice from the other members. I'm looking at replacing an H series 111 I traded. I'm presently looking at an F series painted dial. Can anyone tell me differences between the two series? Which dial is more desirable or is it simply personal preference? Thank you,
