Invicta 1378 wrist watches news:
For 2014 Arnold & Son follows up its extremely desirable Time Pyramid watch that was originally released in 2013 with a more accessibly priced model in steel. Arnold & Son is one of the few brands that regularly offers many of its most interesting timepieces in both steel as well as precious metals. It was not clear that the Time Pyramid was going to be a success when it was originally debuted, but given demand, Arnold & Son has produced a version in a polished steel case with a new finishing for the movement.watches-dealer offered a hands-on look at the Arnold & Son Time Pyramid watch last year - you can make your own determination on how interesting its design is. The highly skeletonized movement was inspired by a skeletonized British clock from around 1830. The triangular shape of the movement was the source of the "pyramid" part of the name. The 2014 Time Pyramid in steel offers a new look for the watch in contrast to the 18k red gold version. From lighter to darker
During December 2010 you readers had the chance to win not one, but seven timepieces here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. I usually ask winners to give me images and a review of the watches, but given that there were a lot of winners for December, I thought it would just be nice to do a pictorial post with "wrist shots." One of the winners is missing as I didn't get shots from them yet - but I will include an image of winner of the Magrette Moana Pacific PVD watch winner ASAP. I am really thrilled that everyone is enjoying their new watches.? Congrats again to the winners, thanks again to the sponsors, and keep trying in the future if you haven't won a watch yet. I will keep these up as long as you all enjoy them.
Interesting how each country comes up with their own time zone. I got interested because I looked at Japan stretching in geographic latitude having 1 time zone. Russia has 11, China for political reasons(purpose of unity after the civil war) is the largest with only 1 zone, U.S. is 9 due to territories stretching the pacific or 4 if you count continental U.S.. Arizona and Hawaii decide to skip daylight savings, and Antarctica can be in theory anytime you want it to be "what a mess!"
Hi, so recently my grandmother came to me with this watch, she said it my my grand-father's pocket watch. Guessing with the time and etc.. I figured it would be from the 1950's or something like that. Here is a picture blueminingf.net/pocketwatch.JPGAt the bottom of the watch you can see it is written "SWISS MADE" the watch is essentially made of silver looking metal, the chain is a "Snake chain" also one important thing, the watch works with a spring not a batterie, I thus need to crink it each daySorry for the bad english :P It's not my best language.P.S If this is the wrong section please tell me ill move this thread to the good one.
