Audemars Piguet 77303OR.ZZ.D009SU.01 wrist watches news:
Some of you may recall my post about a gold Omega Chronograph (Cal 320) that was handed down to me by my Dad. It wasn't working and I gave it for repairs at the Omega service center here. Unfortunately, I get a call from them yesterday, informing me that the movement had rusted and they couldn't procure the spares and so would not be able to repair the watch Now I'm so depressed. I was really looking forward to seeing it tick again! For the guys here who own older Omegas; where can I get mine serviced? Can I send it to the Omega office in Switzerland? And if yes, how much can I expect to shell out?Thanks-Dhruv
Hi all, just a quick question for you Speedmaster owners...I became the owner of my first Speedmaster last Friday and have been quite smitten with my purchase. Of course we all know that the Speedmaster's chronograph second hand isn't the smoothest sweeping to begin with at a beat rate of 21,xxx. However, I was watching mine tick last night and there were a few spots where the second hand almost seemed to stop for a second, jump (like it was taking up slack) and then keep ticking. This watch has seen no knocks, bumps, drops of any kind so I know I haven't "damaged" it by force. I also have been careful when starting/stopping/resetting the chronograph. This is the sapphire sandwich with 1861 caliber.Below is a video I took and uploaded to Flickr today. Pay attention when the second hand is near the 275 mark on the Tach. This is the first and most exaggerated example of what is happening at different spots as the hand sweeps around the dial. I don't think this is supposed to happen even
Hello...121 Time is one of the forum sponsors. They seem to offer some interesting possiblilities at some almost reasonable prices. Has anyone on the forum gotten one of their custom made watches? Pictures? Opinions? Are you happy and would you buy again? I am very curious.
Hey everyone, I have been on the hunt looking for the Ceramic Daytona and like many others getting one soon (at msrp) is tough. So I have been looking at other chronograph watches and have really fallen for the Audemars Piguet 41mm SS. Just got back from Vegas and tried the AP on and it is nice. Have not bought another high end watch except Rolex and would like some advise. I know many of you have multi brand collections. The price I was given was a good out the door with two extra links, 5 year warranty. I think msrp was around $24,600. That's a big price for SS watch! Would you guys do boutique or trusted seller? Thoughts on AP?Here is some pics of watches I have been looking at, any others Thanks all. Dave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
