Chopard 0/4612 wrist watches news:
After taking advice from the knowledgeable people here, I have decided to go with the 15300 instead of the 15400 for my skinny 6.3inch wrist. Only problem is that finding one seems to be a little difficult. Just wondering if DavidSW or Takuya is able to source one and about how much does the 15300 go for?
In reading old threads and doing an internet search there does seem to be some disagreement on which watch Aldrin wore as he stepped onto the moon, 105.012 or 145.012. Since Aldrin's watch was lost/stolen we will never know for 100% certain. However the following article certainly makes it look like Aldrin wore a 105.012. Opinions? Do some of you believe Aldrin wore a 145.012, and if so why?monochrome-watches/omega-...rly-pre-moons/
to wear with the Omega Seamaster Great White!
I once heard that light color dials seem to wear slightly larger than darker ones. Not sure I'm fully convinced by this statement, but I wonder what your views are. I'm particularly interested in the 5205g. Does the light grey model wear any larger than the other 5205g model (black/dark grey)? I never had the chance to handle the two models at the same time. Thanks
Here¡¯s the scenario I find a grail. I have the cash. I¡¯m ready to buy. I talk to the seller first. We agree on a price. Just as I¡¯m about to pay, another buyer appears and offers more. I¡¯m short the additional $300. I lose the watch. It¡¯s not the end of the world. I buy a few fun pieces and lick my wounds. I then notice the buyer flashing his new purchase in every forum. Mildly annoyed. Read some of the buyers posts and see that this person is a ¡°serial flipper¡±. Nothing wrong with that. Then I notice the serial flipper lists my grail-for a damn bargain-well under what I was willing to pay 2 weeks back....Nice Gent!!!!!!However, my cash is now gone from buying a few fun pieces to cheer myself up. I see the grail sell within minutes. In real time. Drag. I won¡¯t get into specifics because it¡¯s not anyone¡¯s fault and all involved are good people. Timing just wasn¡¯t on my side. Vent over :)
