A. Lange & Sohne 403.032 wrist watches news:
Aaron Becsei of Bexei watches is a fellow Hungarian and the only watchmaker in this tiny Central-European country who builds watches from scratch to finish. That already puts him in a rather unique position, but what makes him and his work really interesting from our point of view is that he actually makes some of the finest high-end watches, crafted to a level of quality that is on par with any large manufacture or famed independent. And if you think my patriotism is taking over my ability to judge in a non-partial way, then I urge you to read on, as we find out how one man can make some of the finest watches all by himself, one at a time, at a pace of less than half a dozen a year.During the last 12 months, I have paid three visits to Aaron Becsei, and we both put the months that passed between my visits to good use. I'm trying to get more information about this pocket watch. It's rather small, 14k yellow gold case, Longines and the dial is about 1" in circumference. Based on the serial# it dates back to about 1904. It's not running. I'm trying to figure out hoe many jewels it has and any other pertinent information and was hoping you guys could help. Thank youIMG_5107.jpgIMG_5108.jpgIMG_5110.jpgIMG_5111.jpgIMG_5113.jpg
About a week ago the wife and I were out visiting, my wife loves to show off my watches (gotta Love Her) Anyway she was speaking to the girls and she interuped me speaking to the guys said " How many watches do "WE" have?"You know I don't really know......I went home and started looking and gave up....Some here...Some here...working or parts..Some here...Some here on the wall...another wall ...on the wrist...window sill catching some rays...special ones in here...and we didn't even look in here...So honestly do you know how many you have?
I'm looking for a good quality AP 15300, black dial and tried on this one. My concern is that I feel the case polishing has lost its sharp detailing.I'd be really keen to get other people thoughts. Many thanks
