- I bought this watch for my husband who wanted a face watch. It's great for any age, but for us that are a little older and want a readable face and luminous hands it's awesome! Very nice looking watch!

Movado 0605625 wrist watches news:
I can either pick up a new 2254 now or I can wait for a Black Bond to show up at the ADI already have a 2220.80. I really like the sword hands on the 2254 but I like the Bond bracelet a great deal too. All I really know for sure is my next watch must have a black dial. (and be an Omega) What should I do, and why?

NEWS Alpina Manufacture Regulator: fast forward! August 22, 2008 Following the success of its Avalanche Extreme Regulator Collection, and to celebrate the brand¡¯s 125th Anniversary, Alpina is proud to present a brand new Manufacture Calibre, fully designed and developed in-house. Alpina¡¯s first series of Regulator wristwatches, presented in 2005, are a reminder of the brand¡¯s heritage and fascinating history ¨C albeit with a design that is resolutely fresh and contemporary. In 2008, Alpina is renewing with its watch making tradition, which has been the cornerstone of the brand revival¡¯s success amongst watch enthusiasts and trade professionals alike, and launches a brand-new manufacture calibre, the AL-950, in a new collection: the Alpina Manufacture Regulator.Inspired by the past, yet built with today¡¯s design and technical know-how. A stunning and well-balanced timepiece, arguably more "sober" than its big brother, the best-selling Alpina Avalanche Extreme Regulator, which is behind
Hi ristis!just throwing an idea out there to see where it may go. so i have a pam112 and MAYBE looking to get a 2nd pam.im leaning towards panerai than other brands because pam have different cases as say compared to rolex where sub looks the same as gmt.im thinking of getting a radiomir. i still like the manual wind because it can maintain the thinner case.i have narrowed down to pam 292 (ceramic), pam 337 (42mm)i have also tried on the 372 though it is beautiful, there is no way i can pull off 47mm such a shame.i could get another luminor but i would like a dress watch this time.am i missing something? how bout other brands? exp1?taking my sweet time now.
Tungsten has a rating of 9 on the Mohs scale. It is very difficult to machine. Some are doing it though in making watches, rings, and jewelry.I wonder if Rolex would consider this for a Submariner? It is virtually scratch proof and it is my understanding that it weighs about the same as gold.Using Tungsten would ensure the watch would not get all beat up -- ever. This might not be so good for a company that probably wants their products to be somewhat consumable in that they show signs of wear and tear and eventually a Rolex owner might say This one is looking too beat up. Time to get a new one.In my opinion, Tungsten would be an amazing step forward in Rolex case and bracelet construction. But I doubt we will see it anytime soon.
