In April of this year, while searching through an Antiquorum catalog, we discovered one of the coolest examples of one of the coolest watches of all time – a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso owned by none other than General Douglas MacArthur. We've always known the Reverso to be the choice of several great men, but it was unknown that General MacArthur in particular wore the watch. We knew the MacArthur Reverso would have its fans when it came up for sale, and we were right – it sold for over 87,000 CHF. Should I or should I not.....
someone offered me AP Ruben 2 Ti... This watch is one of my most favorite in term of design. But I am considering on the fact that this watch has been in the market for a while and that should i consider newer watch or take a chance with this RB2....

It's so hard to give away my money.
I've been contacting an Ad here in Canada to try and purchase a Patek 5726. I am serious about buying the watch and ready to put a deposit and come pick up the watch. I've called to confirm the watch and order before my purchase, and I felt like I was really 'snobbed' out. I didn't feel like the sales person, (might have been owner as well) wanted to sell me the watch? He kept saying if you want come down buy the watch if not I only have one watch he kept emphasizing he only had one watch, and gave me the impression that ' hey if you're not gonna buy i don't give a damn cause I only have one watch. ' I couldn't believe it was so hard to give away that amount of money. He didn't even bother with my deposit request or even cared how much deposit I wanted to out down. Has our economy recovered so well that everyone is in the market for a Patek now, and the AD, can sell those easily and don't care about customer service anymore?

Super glide easy link lock stretch-orama.The few that I own without it, i've learned to manage. And was fine for years without it. But once you've gone down the super slide MSG-sodium adjuster road, theres no turning back....Maybe its a Florida thing, but the whole quick micro adjust, to me, is the greatest achievement in watches since the invention of the date wheel.Anyone else agree in principle without so many made up adjectives?
