- I received this watch in 2009 as a christmas gift and I love the look but it gets dirty VERY easily! anything will make it look dingy and it is impossible to clean. I do recommend purchasing it. But they do have it in purple blue brown and maybe the darker colors will hide dirt better.

- Great watch, price was good. I was a little worried buying it over the net, I thought it would not look like the photo. However the watch is better looking in person.

Hey GuysSupposin' you could get the technical geniuses of Bienne to build you one special go anywhere, do anything watch. What features would it have?I'd like the following -1) Water-resistance Say 200 to 300M. 300M isn't strictly necessary since I only dunk my wrist into water as opposed to dive but 300M sounds better 2) ChronographI find a chronograph useful. In fact I use it most days of the week so stopwatch functions would be necessary3) AlarmI think this speaks for itself. I'd prefer a mechanical watch so it'll have to be a mechanical alarm4) DateAgain self-explanatory. I'd get tired of having to refer to my computer or cellphone5) Manual-WindingThis might seem anachronistic but I do like the daily routine which helps in the bonding process.I think that's about it. I could consider a GMT complication as well but this probably isn't a high priority if the movement was a derivative of the cal 8500 which would allow for an independently adjustable hour hand. You may take it as read t

OK, after discounts maybe I only saved $35,000 today...How is that possible you ask.. Well, my new winder arrived and as it turns out I no longer need the 5130R World Timer....And now I'm able to focus my attention on getting the 5135R without distraction Now, if I could just find a 200mm alligator strap to go with it & I'll be good to go
Hello Everyone, and it is a pleasure to finally join this site. Before I get into the more detailed conversations, I own many Hamilton watches, but couldn't distinguish a popular or valuable Hamilton from a "common" Hamilton. As a kid, my collectible interests were baseball cards, and there, the person and the scarcity ( production numbers of cards in circulation ) would denote value.I AM SURE A GOOGLE REQUEST SOME MONTHS AGO TOOK ME TO A THREAD HERE WHICH GAVE SUCH A LIST, AT THE TOP OF THE POST.Can anyone help me locate that post so I can sort my watches by scarcity/rarity?Thank you in advance!!P.S. If that appears elsewhere, let me know
