Chopard 278937-23-PINK wrist watches news:
A long installment, but I think you'll find it interesting:rolexreferencepage/tr...y2/japan2.htmlEnjoy!
I had a ss gmt II, sold it and have regretted it ever since. I have to get another gmt II, but now I'm torn between the ss and tt. The ss is understated, sporty, gorgeous. I love the gold numerals on the bezel on the tt, but I'm concerned that over time the tt might be a little too blingy. What do you think.
Just out of curiosity, when a hand hole size is referred to ie: 140, is that described in mm or thousands of an inch?
I'm on the hunt for my first luxury watch, and I've been a long time fan of IWC.I saw an IWC on a recent trip that I absolutely loved, and I initially thought it was a Portuguese Chorongraph. It had a steel band and a chronograph and was approximately 39-40mm in size and fit me well despite my very small wrist (which is usually a problem for 41mm or larger watches). However, after discussing with a coworker, he didn't think it was a portuguese due to the smaller size and thought it was a IWC Flieger Chronograph. After visiting the IWC site, it appears as though their 2009 collection does not include the Flieger. After doing some research, it seems there is quite a difference for various editions, between Mark XII through to XVI. A few questions for you all:1. Is it even possible to buy Flieger chronographs new anywhere? I am in the USA.2. Are there are resources online where I can see photos of various IWC watches over the years? I expected to find some resource easily, but surprisin
This will be about my concerns on such issues about manually wound Pateks that you may call logistics concerns. When it comes to owning a manual Patek, and wearing it regularly, how does it work exactly? I know it may sound silly to ask this, but here's why. I do have a manual watch, an Omega Speedmaster from '69 that I do wear at least once a week. I wind it every morning, before leaving for work. It's quite an affordable watch (when compared to most Pateks), it's not too pricy to get it serviced, and its winding crown is made of steel, so I have no problem winding it once a day. And if I happen to forget to wind it for a few days, it's not too difficult to set the time again -- and there's no other complication to hassle with. When it comes to manual Pateks, especially complicated ones (AC, PC, PC Chrono), how do you deal with the issue of winding? Do you wind it every day or every second day, even if you don't wear it that often? Doesn't it wear down the precious metal windin
