.....while you may factor in pre-loved, do you consider vintage too?A number of members here collect vintage, Sam, Keiron and Gee Jaay for instance have a wealth of styles in their respective collections. Some of us have watches purchased from some way back. Had I not been relieved of it, I would still have my old gold Connie which was a graduation gift from my parents. That apart, I've never had an inkling to go vintage.There is one exception of course - The Speedy Pro. However with the Speedy Pro, the primary appearance has not altered with the exception of the early CK models and of course the pre-moon models with the applied Omega logo. I wish Omega had retained the applied logo on all the Speedy Pros. It was on the Gemini !V so why not say a 3573.50 as well?I have given much thought to acquiring older Speedies. Box from Germany...well packed ...nice wood box ...look inside ...front ...back ...wrist ...outside wrist to catch the sparkle ...my Germans ...my daughter wondering what her crazy Dad is excited about ...First impressions: 36.5 mm diameter is big enough, this watch wears big! I don't know why they thought they needed to offer a bigger diameter watch. The reflections and sparkle of the hand and indices and the gray to black face are impossible to capture in photographs, very subtle and beautiful. Also, the date is extremely legible (one of the key reasons I wanted this watch). Very comfortable on the strap, but I am looking for a very well made light mesh bracelet to check out the water resistance on this baby. (no screw down crown, but the gasket at the crown is there). So far, very pleased, a beautiful and elegant watch. I will need some time to judge performance...

Bracelet sizing
Hi everyone I recently picked a 15400 and I've been to trying to get the bracelet right. First I had two links taken out of either side, but felt too tight and was leaving the imprint of the watch on my wrist. So I had one link put back on. it still didn't sit right, so I went to AP in NYC and purchased a link and half. So currently I'm at 4 regular links taken out and the link and a half put in. However it still doesn't sit the way I'd like. Any suggestions? See fit below.
