Building up a relationship with a good seller. This will gain you two (actually 3) advantages. First:1) Understands YOU He understands exactly where you want your collection to go. He then keeps an eye out for watches that he believes will suit your collection, and of course offer them to you first.Remember you can collect 'vertically' i.e. Illinois Watches or you can collect 'horizontally' i.e. Trench watches/Hermetic watches/Automatics.2) KnowledgableA good seller will know Horology/Watches. I'll start. This is one of my favorites...found a number of years back on the bay. Absolutely love the deco styling. Swiss made...unknown maker. Face is about 53mm, chromed stand measures 4 1/8" x 3 1/4". Runs well and is in great condition.I have never seen the actual movement as the mainspring covers the entire back and I don't want to mess with a good thing...OK...let's see yours...
