Old Illinois wrist watch
I have had this old Illinois wristwatch for a few years now. I have been thinking about getting it fixed up. it does tick for a few seconds then stop. it will need a stem, hands and maybe a dial refinish? The movement is an 11j model. Lathin watch. I know I posted something similar before, but.......It is swiss made but I can't find any info on the web about it. I don't know enough about it to trust to a watchsmith yet. But I want to get it restored. I'm afraid to open it. I would like to learn more about it so I don't appear to be a mook when I finally take it in. I might be able to post a better shot later.
