Hi All,I was givin a gold Hamilton quartz wrist watch that has the model# 9812 on the back. It has "100 yr's of pride" on the upper part of the dial & "1889-1989 on the bottom. The word Hamilton is at the very top. It has the letters U & A in large letters in the middle. The dial is a sort of champayne color with gold lettering. Can anyone tell me what it's worth in good condition with all paper work & box, & also approx what it sold for in 1998?

Suggestions for small and cheap
I would like to get a small winder to put my Longines Master Moonphase on to save me ever having to set the moonphase again. I'm looking for something with these requirements:small enough to fit in a safebattery operated (it will be in a safe)cheapI know that there are good Orbita models that fit the bill, but I will never get one past my wife. However, if I buy a cheap one then I may be able to upgrade when it dies after she has seen it in action for a while. It doesn't make great financial sense, I know. But it is the only way I will get one, so it makes sense from that perspective.One that will last for years and years is not top priority. Neither is quietness (but if I can hear it from inside the safe it won't last!). I see shots across the site and we seem to have a lot of folks who wear their watches on their left wrist. But there are some who wear on the right. I've even seen some photo series where the same person is wearing a watch on one wrist in one shot, and the other wrist in a different shot - this got me thinking...Do you prefer to wear your watch on your left or righ wrist? 5196g and 5146g or 3940g?
I already own a 5146g and was considering trading for the 5396g but after tryingit on this week Ive decided the 5146 is more me, I prefer dials to windows. However while I was trying on the 5396 I also tried the 5140 and 5196 (which I have had previously). The 5140 is a fantastic watch but it is cluttered and the 5/27 was off putting, I'm yet to try the 3940 but the dial looks cleaner and it is only 1mm smaller.So my option now is to keep the 5146 and add the 5196, which I think is a good combo or trade in the 5146 for a 3940. What do you guys think?
