Bracelet Sizing
I wanted to post this since I am worried I may be going to some extremes and in hopes of not thinking this, I am wondering if others here have the same issue. I do not have the biggest wrists. Actually, they are small. I have my beautiful PO 45mm which does not, in my opinion, look bad. However, the bracelet size is bothering me. Out of the possible links that can be removed I only have 3 with one 1 of them being the half size link. If I take off another full size link it will be a tad bit to tight. So, I was thinking of purchasing another half size link and replacing a full size one with it which should bring it to about where I am. Nevertheless, I feel that removing another link and replacing it with a smaller one is going to make the watch look even smaller when taken off. I am wondering if anyone else has done this already or how small is your braceletHere is a picture of my watch:The picture above you can see that the two red lines represent, or actually show, the half link I am t

The trade deadline
Well, the non-waiver trade deadline may have passed for MLB, but not for MLW (major league watches)! I had 2 fall apart in the midst of negotiations today. The first was miles apart on value. I saw a moonphase Omega Speedmaster yesterday and went back to check it out again after a bit of research last night. The dealer wanted WAY too much. His was used and he wanted almost as much as I could buy it for new! For trade value I wanted to see if he'd consider my DateJust. It was laughable how much he wanted to give me in trade towards the Speedy; at least $400 less than anyone had ever offered before. buhBYE! I also saw a black-dialed Omega SMP GMT and was considering trading my Corum. After a trip to Sam's shop I decided not to make the swap. As much as I really like the SMP's with the 1120 calibres in them, they can be found for a few hundred less. I'm liking my Corum - it's not a brand you encounter in the wild very often and I like to have a few off-the-beaten-path pieces i

Post mortem provisions for your watches
This is kind of morbid, but I've never seen this question asked....I am very emotionally attached to most of my time pieces as I'm sure most of my fellow WIS friends here are. The hardest time I have is wondering what will happen to my collection after I die some day. I don't have a son to pass them onto, Do you think my daughter (currently 3yrs old) would appreciate them? What provisions have any of you made for your watches after your demise?

First AP will be a 15300 - Silver or Blue?
I'm sure you have all heard this story before but I come from years of Rolex and Panerai and had the chance to try on a friend's Jumbo. It has somehow burned it's way in to my mind and I can't seem to get rid of it. His piece is the 40th 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01.If I'm totally honest, the 15300 is a more palatable way for me to move in to the world of AP based on the price difference between the 15300 and the 15202. I've run across two opportunities to pick up a 15300 one of which has the silver dial and the other has the blue dial.Two questions for you:1. Will the 15300 feel as magical as the 15202 did? (No watches near me to try on.)2. Would you choose the SILVER dial or the BLUE dial?These threads usually drive me crazy because the answer is clearly which ever one speaks to you. The issue is they are both speaking to me and I would like to know which is more popular with you AP experts.Thanks!
