Chopard 278559-3004 wrist watches news:
I am looking in to buying a new watch in the next week or soand my choices right now are as follows I cant really decide, and I would also love some suggestions. The criterea be that it doesnt cost more than around 600 bucks, and its gotta be a Flieger, or styled like a pilots watch.Debaufre Nav B Uhr (Limited edition or traditional with the sub-second hand-cant decide!!) Ive heard SO many good things about this watch. It is definitely the front-runner.Hamilton X-Wind (If I can find one for around 700 Ill do it, but otherwise this is kind of a second string)Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro (Pre-owned so within my price range)DeBaufre Airforce (Cool looking design, might be a bit too out there for me though)I have begun looking at Archimedes, and Aristo watches, and I really like how true to the original Fliegers they are, but it doesnt seem like they are very readily availablenot to mention, most of the sizes are smaller than I would like. I am looking to be above 42mm. Ive also really
Hey guys. I'm hoping someone may be able to answer another question! As I understand it, the latest incarnation of the TAG Carrera (CV201x) is available in two versions. The older version has a solid rotor, while the newer version has two holes cut into the rotor. The newer (current) model has TAG's Calibre 16 movement, and I've read that the older version has the Valjoux 7750.I guess what I want to know is, is this accurate? And if I can find the older version with the Valjoux movement for a really good price is it worth considering? Thanks!
OK... there's no watch porn. It's totally innocent. Just some peeping of a... WET Diver... in the bushes Hope you had fun
I saw this 1990 OMEGA Speedmaster Chronograph AUTOMATIC 3510.50 for $800. I want to have it check before buying it. Do you guys have any suggestions on things to check to make sure I'm not buying a fake one. What's the movement on this watch? Is $800 a good deal for this watch.Need your help!!!!Thanks
I have a dirty physical job and currently wear a nondescript plastic quartz watch while at work as part of my regular three watch rotation - when I get home I swap for a steel AP, and I use a Fifty Fathoms for outdoor activities, fishing, hiking, etc. Before long I would like to upgrade my work piece and Rolex is at the top of my list, however it would need to have a reasonably bulletproof shock and vibration resistant movement. I absolutely love the Milgauss but the lack of a date window is a deal breaker for me. I like the modern Air King, but again it doesn't have a date function. I guess that leaves the Explorer II but for some reason it just doesn't speak to me. Are there any choices I'm overlooking?
