- Every time I use this watch people comment about it. It's very good looking, solid rock and have a good price. I have it for more than a year by now and the sapphire crystal remains scratchless. Although it is a watch (I have wrists and was concerned about it when I bought) it's not so to the point to look awkward. It's just the right size. I would definitely recommend it.

Chopard 288525-3003 wrist watches news:
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jeff Stein and his OnTheDash is something really special in the vintage Heuer community. It is, without a doubt, the thought-leader in the space, full of honest (rare in the watch world) assessments and analysis of the ever growing culture of vintage Heuer chronographs. Today, Mr. Stein has published a fascinating look at the Autavia, in all its incarnations, with glances at differentiating specific models, which are most collectible and why, famous wearers of the Autavia, and pricing trends. Even if you have just a passing interest in the original Heuer racer's watch, this is worth a read.Check out Jeff Stein's collector's guide to the Heuer Autavia here.
Hello all,I recently had a pocket watch passed down to me. As the new steward of this heirloom I would like to learn as much as possible about the watch. What I do know:The case, dial and movement are marked "M. S. Smith & Co., DetroitIt is a hunter case (front cover was removed for display by a prior owner)The inside of the back cover is marked with number 35798Any information or advice on where to look for some would be greatly appreciated.
had a hard time deciding on what to get for the wifey for her birthday, it was either a bag or a watch, and being a watch guy I much prefer a watch would be more worth it.so I bit the bullet and ordered her this to add to her collection of watches..omegawatches/collecti...32433384004001I sure hope she like's it
Why don't they make a SS 5980 with this dial, it's just amazing, don't like TT's very much, even if I wouldn't mind having this one but would definitely like better if it was SS, in any case probably my favorite Nautilus dial, can someone please call Patek and have this fixed? What are your opinions on this dial and do you think they will put it on other combinations? I fell that they won't but could be wrong...5980_1AR_001.png
I just received my everest black strap with tang buckle and it is amazing. The quality is top, the comfort is amazing and I love how under the radar my watch is right now. It's amazing to have 2 watches in one now. Everest has confirmed my thoughts on what would be my perfect watch, a steel sports rolex on a rubber strap (oysterflex), I'm still waiting for it but for now this is my solution. I wanted to share since I have not since this combo anywhere. I really recommend this strap.Obviously I'm keeping my Oyster but I'll use it for special occasions, everything else is for the everest.
